Sir Alan Beith MP's Rail Users' Survey
Since the East Coast main line was nationalised, a new draft timetable has been published. The new timetable would see a reduction in some key commuter services from Berwick, Alnmouth and Morpeth. At the same time, the Minister has been promising more services at these stations, so the picture is very confusing. Sir Alan Beith MP is gathering information from local rail users about the services they rely on to help make sure rail bosses and the Government get it right and improve rather than damage our vital rail links to Scotland, Tyneside and the rest of the UK.
